1. Anchor the Base Tape
- Position the foot so the ankle is slightly flexed.
- Apply the first strip of tape on the bottom of the foot, starting near the arch. Make sure the anchor is applied without stretch to prevent irritation.
2. Apply the First Strip
- Pull the tape gently up along the inner or outer side of the foot and ankle, ensuring light tension as you follow the natural contour of the leg.
- Stop below the knee and rub the tape gently to activate the adhesive.
3. Add Stability with Cross Strips
- Apply a second strip of tape horizontally across the front of the ankle or shin area to provide additional support.
- Use light tension as you stretch the tape to avoid restricting movement.
4. Secure the Edges
- Use another strip to secure the tape further around the ankle or foot.
- Ensure the edges are smoothed down to prevent peeling during movement.
